Sarajevo born, mezzosoprano Jasmina Polic, is a graduate from Musicology at the Sarajevo Music Academy and Opera Singing at Music academy of East Sarajevo.

In 2003, she continued her studies at the State Conservatory of Music “G. Rossini” in Pesaro completing the bachelor degree in opera singing with Luisa Macnez and the master degree in opera performing with Rossella Marcantoni. During her operatic schooling, she studied opera singing with many prominent and well-known opera singers such as Petar Lukac, Milivoj Bacanovic, Aleksandra Ivanovic, Radmila Bakocevic, Luisa Macnez, Rossella Marcantoni and operatic & vocal chamber music repertoire with Carlo Morganti, Ubaldo Fabbri, Lucia Tosi, Damiano Giorgi and Richard Barker as well as baroque repertoire with Luisa Baldassari.

She attended the opera masterclasses held by Alessandro Patalini, Gloria Banditelli, Christopher Underwood, Roy Laughlin, Ann Murray, Irena Sylya, Patrizia Morandini and in January 2018 with tenor Jose Carreras.

In 2015 she completed a Recital Artist Diploma Course at The Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin with Mr Philip O’Reilly. Throughout her career, she has performed in concerts as well as in operas in different theatres and halls in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ireland and Italy amongst which were National Theatre of Sarajevo and Banja Luka, Mostar Pavarotti Centre, Sarajevo’s Concert Hall, Sarajevo Bosniak Institute, Teatro Municipale di Matelica, Teatro Comunale di Loreto, Teatro di San Casciano dei Bagni, Teatro San Diego di Forli, Auditorium Pedrotti di Pesaro, Fano’s Malatesta Court, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, National Concert Hall in Dublin ect.

In XXVII edition of Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro she participated as cover of Isabella in the opera “Italiana in Algeri” directed by the Nobel Prize Laureate Mr. Dario Fo. Her performed roles includes Isabella from Rossini opera Italiana in Algeri, Isolie from Rossini opera Le Comte Ory, Suzuki from Puccini La Madame Butterfly, Zia Principessa from Suor Angelica. She sang Pergolesi and Rossini Stabat Mater, Mozart and Verdi Requiem, J. S. Bach Magnificat and Mozart Mass in C major.

In 2009 she performed as a special international guest at Gala Concert “Operetta in Opera” in Teatro dell’Opera di Roma conducted by Mr. Sergio La Stella and at Gala Opera Concert in the Capri Opera Festival accompanied by orchestra of the festival. As a soloist she collaborated with the Italian Flute Quartet ‘Les Flautes Joyouses’ with whom she performed in 2010 at the International Sarajevo Winter Festival.

As soloist she performed with Symphonic orchestra Rossini from Pesaro, Conservatorio Rossini orchestra, conducted by directors such as Davide Crescenzi, Luca Ferrara and others.

She worked as vocal teacher at Music School of Senigallia, Cappella Musicale del Duomo di Fano, Cappella di Musica di Urbino, Music School of Cagli, Music School of Monte Porzio and held a vocal workshop for students from Urbino University as a part of the project of Ente Nazionale Per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario di Urbino. Beside teaching experience she obtained diploma from Irish Lifecoach Institute in Personal & Business Coaching - Course has ACSTH stamp of Approval from International Coach federation (ICT) & QQI (FETAC) Lewel 6 Award in Life and Workplace Coaching.

In 2016 she specialized opera repertoire at The McCray International Studio of Vocal Arts in Hague with Prizrenka Petkovic and James McCray. Actively collaborate with pianist Seho Lee in concerts and perform in opera in different European cites.
